Microsoft’s Designer App Now Available on iOS and Android

Microsoft has recently rolled out its Designer app, making it accessible to all users on both iOS and Android platforms. This app, powered by AI, functions as a versatile image generator, boasting compatibility with over 80 languages.

Designer allows users to either create entirely new visuals using AI or enhance and edit existing images. It provides a wide array of templates suitable for various purposes such as smartphone wallpapers, profile avatars, greeting cards, and more.

For seasoned Microsoft users, Designer offers the flexibility to design from scratch, enabling the creation of unique templates for personal artwork. Notably, the app operates independently, offering standalone functionality.

Additionally, images created with Designer seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint projects, although full integration requires a Copilot Pro subscription. This subscription enables users to leverage Copilot and OpenAI tools to enhance their documents and presentations with visually compelling content.

Comparable to Canva in user-friendliness, Designer now extends its reach with dedicated apps for iOS and Android, complemented by powerful AI tools. The app also integrates with OpenAI’s advanced image generator, “DALL-E,” and can interface with “ChatGPT 4 Turbo” when needed.
