Susan Wojcicki, the former CEO of YouTube and a prominent figure in the tech and business world, has passed away at the age of 56. Wojcicki succumbed to a two-year battle with non-small cell lung cancer.
The news was confirmed by Wojcicki’s husband, Dennis Troper, in a heartfelt Facebook post. Troper shared the somber news with deep sorrow, stating, “It is with profound sadness that I share the news of Susan Wojcicki’s passing. My beloved wife of 26 years and mother to our five children left us today after a courageous fight against lung cancer.”
Wojcicki is survived by her husband and four children. Her son, Marco Troper, had sadly passed away earlier this year.
Troper reflected on Wojcicki’s profound impact, writing, “Susan was not just my best friend and life partner but also a brilliant mind, a devoted mother, and a cherished friend to many. Her influence on our family and the world was immeasurable. While we are heartbroken, we are grateful for the time we had with her.
