Salesforce Expands Hyperforce Cloud Platform to Israel

Salesforce (CRM.N) announced today the expansion of its Hyperforce cloud platform to Israel, marking a significant move for the cloud software giant. The new deployment aims to address data sovereignty concerns by ensuring that sensitive governmental and corporate data remains within Israeli borders.

The Hyperforce platform, which has been under development for two years, will initially operate on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, with potential future expansion to Google Cloud Platform.

Itai Margalit, Salesforce’s head of sales in Israel, emphasized that the local deployment of Hyperforce will greatly benefit government entities and regulated firms. “This platform is crucial for organizations that must adhere to stringent privacy laws and cannot store data outside Israel,” Margalit explained.

The expansion aligns with Salesforce’s commitment to enhancing data security and compliance for its international clients.
