Samsung Gulf Electronics has expanded its Galaxy AI Pioneers (GAIP) program to train over 4,000 students across Dubai and Abu Dhabi in artificial intelligence (AI), coding, content creation, and online safety. The initiative aims to bring AI education directly into UAE classrooms, focusing on students aged 12 to 17.
The expanded program builds on its successful launch, offering a comprehensive curriculum that covers AI and Python fundamentals, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, robotics, and natural language processing. Students will also learn to use Galaxy AI tools for content creation and be educated on responsible digital behavior.
The program is being rolled out in 15 schools offering British, American, and IB curriculums, where students aged 11-14 will gain hands-on experience with Galaxy AI devices. In addition, a dedicated course on online safety for 900 parents will help create a support system for young learners.
This initiative supports the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, aligning with the country’s goal to become a global leader in technology and innovation. The program, which has trained over 140 young innovators in summer school sessions, has evolved from an extracurricular activity to a key academic offering, making AI education more accessible to UAE youth.
