Amazon has unveiled a new partnership with Microsoft aimed at integrating Xbox cloud gaming services into Fire TV devices. Starting July, users of Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2023) and Fire TV Stick 4K (2023) will gain access to a range of popular video game titles including Starfield, Fallout 4, and Forza Horizon 5 through the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, priced at Rs 549 per month in India.
In a press release, Amazon emphasized that this collaboration will extend the Game Pass Ultimate library to televisions via compatible Fire TV Stick devices paired with a Bluetooth gaming controller. The initiative aims to deliver a high-quality gaming experience akin to traditional console setups. Notably, alongside Xbox controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller and Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation controllers such as the DualSense and DualShock 4 will also be compatible with the service.
Getting Started with Xbox Cloud Gaming on Fire TV Stick:
1.Connect the Device:
Plug in an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2023) or Fire TV Stick 4K (2023) to your television and download the Xbox app from the Amazon Appstore.
2.Sign In:
Open the app and sign in using your Microsoft account.
3.Subscription:
If you’re already subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, sign in and start gaming. Otherwise, sign in and subscribe to access the service.
4.Trial Games:
Some games like Fortnite offer trial versions without requiring a membership.
5.Connect Controller:
Once your Microsoft account is set up on the Fire TV Stick, connect a compatible Bluetooth controller to begin playing.
