Getty Images and NVIDIA have announced the launch of a groundbreaking commercial AI model, Wenshengtu, that can generate four photos in six seconds. This new model boasts twice the performance of its predecessor, making it the fastest in the industry.
The Wenshengtu AI model supports more complex and lengthy prompts, accommodating up to 250 words. This advancement is partly based on NVIDIA’s Edify model architecture, which is part of the NVIDIA Picasso suite. Picasso is primarily utilized for building and deploying generative AI models for visual design.
AI Photo Editing Feature
Alongside the new AI model, Getty Images introduced an AI photo editing feature. This tool allows customers to modify generated AI images and pre-existing creative images. Key functionalities include adding or changing individual elements, expanding the canvas, and removing the background with a single click.
Currently, this AI photo editing feature is available on iStock and will soon be integrated into Getty Images.
