Pudu Robotics Launches Advanced Cleaning Solution with AI Integration
Pudu Robotics, a leading innovator in service robotics, has introduced the PUDU MT1, an AI-powered robotic sweeper designed to revolutionize cleaning in expansive environments such as warehouses and manufacturing facilities. This cutting-edge robot promises to enhance cleaning efficiency with its advanced automation and real-time monitoring capabilities.
The PUDU MT1 is engineered to handle vast areas, covering up to approximately 1.1 million square feet. Its AI-driven technology enables it to identify and categorize waste accurately, distinguishing between actual trash and non-trash items. This smart feature allows the robot to activate its cleaning mechanism only when necessary, optimizing efficiency and conserving resources.
In addition to its intelligent waste management, the robot employs lidar SLAM and VSLAM technologies for precise route optimization. This ensures comprehensive coverage with minimal redundancy and allows the PUDU MT1 to adapt to layout changes seamlessly. The robot’s ability to integrate with IoT devices, such as elevators and gates, facilitates multi-floor cleaning operations.
Users benefit from real-time updates and detailed cleaning reports through remote monitoring apps and PC interfaces. Notifications regarding trash capacity and maintenance needs further streamline operations.
Traditional cleaning methods in large settings like home improvement stores and industrial plants can be labor-intensive and inefficient. The PUDU MT1 addresses these challenges by combining AI capabilities with high-efficiency cleaning technology, potentially reducing costs while maintaining rigorous hygiene standards.

The PUDU MT1 features an intuitive touchscreen interface for user-friendly operation and customization, along with an extended handle for manual intervention and transitioning between areas. The robot can navigate narrow passages as slim as 29.5 inches, handle obstacles up to three-quarters of an inch, and traverse gaps up to 1.3 inches, ensuring edge-to-edge cleaning. With a 6-hour battery life and continuous operation capabilities when paired with its charging dock, the PUDU MT1 is designed for round-the-clock cleaning.
This new release marks Pudu Robotics’ third cleaning product, following the earlier launch of the PUDU T300, an autonomous robot designed for logistics workflows. The company continues to push the boundaries of robotic technology, with nearly a thousand authorized patents globally, reflecting its commitment to advancing human productivity and living standards.
