Bain & Company announced on Thursday that it will broaden its collaboration with OpenAI to offer the AI startup’s tools, including ChatGPT, to its clientele.
Initially formed last year, the global services alliance aimed to raise awareness among Bain’s clients about OpenAI’s innovative technology. As part of this expansion, the Boston-based consultancy has made OpenAI’s platforms, including ChatGPT Enterprise, accessible to employees worldwide.
In addition, Bain is investing in the creation of an OpenAI Center of Excellence, which will be led by a dedicated team within the consultancy. The partnership will focus on co-developing AI solutions specifically tailored for the retail and healthcare life sciences sectors, with plans to extend these offerings to other industries in the future.
While Bain did not disclose the financial terms of the partnership, reports indicate that approximately 50 employees will be dedicated to this joint initiative, as first reported by the Wall Street Journal.
