Bounce Insights Raises €4.2 Million to Expand into the US

Bounce Insights, an AI-powered market research startup based in Dublin, has raised €4.2 million in a funding round led by ACT Venture Capital. The investment will support the company’s expansion into the US market, including the opening of a New York office and plans to grow its team, with a target of tripling its global workforce by 2026.

Other investors in the round include Irrus Investments, Enterprise Ireland, the Digital Irish Venture Fund, and MRops founder Ian Kiernan.

Bounce Insights has developed a platform that automates 90% of the market research process, delivering insights seven times faster and at 40% lower cost compared to traditional research agencies. Its clients include global brands like Coca-Cola, Diageo, Tesco, Mondelez, Unilever, and Marks & Spencer.

Founded in 2022 by Rónán Dowling-Cullen, Charlie Butler, Brandon Dooley, Josh Stafford, and Brian O’Mahony, Bounce Insights has now raised €6.1 million in total. As part of its US expansion, Co-Founder Charlie Butler will relocate to New York to lead the company’s early-stage operations there.

Butler explained the company’s vision: “We’re using generative AI and proprietary datasets to replace repetitive tasks in market research, offering brands a more efficient and superior service.”

To support its growth, Bounce Insights is focusing on hiring talent in software engineering, sales, and research roles across Dublin, London, and North America.

Mairéad Roche of ACT Venture Capital praised the platform’s impact, saying, “Bounce’s AI-infused platform gives global brands access to consumer insights with unmatched agility and accuracy, making marketing decisions smarter and more cost-effective.”
